CVS 2/14/10

We have been very busy the last few weeks and as a result have not stepped foot in a CVS in a while. Lucky for us CVS had some pretty good deals this week so we could use our bucks before they expired. Heres what we did:

Aussie Conditioner $2.99 get $2
Used a $1 off 1 coupon

Colgate Total $2.99 get $2
Used a $0.50 off 1 coupon

Gillette Disposable razors $5.79 get $2
Used a $2 off coupon

Crest Pro Health Enamel Shield $3.50 get $3.50
Used a $0.75 off 1 coupon

Total before tax was $15.27. We combined $8.50 in ECB's with this deal to make it $6.77. After coupons and tax our grand total was $2.67. On the end of the receipt was a lovely gift of $9.50 in ECB's.

Pretty good come back after being away for a few weeks.

Staples Rebates

If you're using up printing paper, start checking out the Staples weekly ads - they frequently have a ream of paper (500 sheets) for $1 after rebate! Staples almost always has free after rebate items in their ad. If you keep an eye on it you can score some cool deals. I don't go there regularly, but on a rare occasion I'll swing by and take them up on a deal or two. Andy had to get some office supplies, so I picked up a few things tonight.

Here's what I did this week at Staples:
  • Scotch Pop-Up Desk Grip Tape Dispenser - FREE after rebate
  • Pentel HyperG Retractable Gel Pens - FREE after rebate
  • Hammermill Copy Plus Paper (500 Sheets) $1 after rebate

CVS and Target 1/3/2010

CVS

GE Energy Smart Bulbs $2.99, Earn a $2 ECb wyb one Limit 1
Use $1/1 GE Energy Smart printable coupon (IE Link) (FF Link)

Colgate Total, MaxFresh or MaxWhite Toothpaste $2.50
Buy 2 and Get $2 ECBS
$0.75/1 from 1/3 SS
Also use $0.75 printable here (Its for MaxWhite. The site says its for $1.00 but when you click to print it comes up at $0.75)

All Detergent $3.99
Use $2/1 All Detergent coupon from 12/6 RP insert
Pay $1.99 each after coupon

All together we spent $11.98. Take away the $1 coupon for the light bulb, the two coupons for the toothpaste and the coupon for the detergent and it was $7.48. We used $7 in ECBs to make it a total of $0.48 plus tax for a total of $0.55 and we left with $4 more in ECBs. We also got $1.50 in ECBs for our fall "spending" so we wound up with $5.50 in ECB's.

Target

GE Reveal Light Bulbs (4 pk, 60 watt) – $2/ea
Use $1.50/1 coupon here (print this twice and get 2 packs)

So for two 4-packs of light bulbs we paid $1.08
